To visualize distance to (or intersection with) antagonists, use the CAD button called "Show Distances". A new window will appear, and the CAD display will show the distance to antagonist for each restoration, color coded as follows:

Distance to Antagonist Scale - NEW.PNG

Using drop-down control [1], you can expose additional controls as follows:

Show distances - with Dropdown - NEW.PNG

Slider [2] controls the color scaling, visualized in the false-color bar above. [3] indicates first, the maximum intersection (or closest distance) at the current mouse position. Using checkboxes [4], you can enable/disable visualization both for antagonist intersection/distance and intersection/distance to adjacent teeth. You can switch between visualization of intersections and visualization of distance by opening the control [5].

Show distances + Show intersections - with Dropdown - NEWPIC.png

The default is intersection, which indicates the distance the scans overlap. Show Proximity [6] changes the display to measure the distance between non-overlapping scans.

TipYou can also visualize distance/intersection on healthy teeth (that is, on scan data) by checking Include healthy teeth [8] in the dropdown. You can also see the different occlusal contacts in dynamic occlusion here in the list [5] when using the Virtual Articulator module.

To disable all visualizations, click the "Show distances" CAD button.
